I am very excited to share with you a little about myself and this beautiful city, Rosarito, that I call home. Having been raised in San Diego, I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Always intrigued with the entrepreneurial spirit, I opened and successfully ran my own floor covering business for the ensuing 20 years. It was during these formative business years that I learned the importance of what I call "commitment to customer care". Communication is very important to me. I strive to offer the highest level of guidance, trust and knowledge. Of these, communication is and always shall be the key to a successful transaction and a lasting friendship. In all my years in the flooring business, never once did a client of mine not become my friend after our business dealings were complete! It has been my goal to continue that kind of customer commitment here in Rosarito.
Many people ask me, “Andrew, why did you move to Mexico in the first place?” While there are many reasons, there is one which sticks in my mind. As a young child growing up in San Diego, my parents frequently loaded my brother, sisters and I and drove us to Tijuana with a car load of clothes, food and medicines with which we would distribute to the impoverished. This was a normal happening throughout my youth that continues to this day. On one particular ‘mission’, I was maybe 20 years old. We embarked to install a vinyl floor in the home of a woman who at the time was living with 4 kids on a dirt floor. As we took a break for lunch, I looked around from atop the hill where this house stood. The view of the ocean was magical and I remember saying “Wow mom, why don’t ‘we’ live here?” Well, 15 years later I did exactly that! I bought my first property in 2004 and have lived here full time since. In that time, I have bought and sold various properties. I have also helped many find their dream homes. It is my pleasure sharing all aspects of life and living in this great area on this magical coastline. Throughout my years in Rosarito, I have witnessed the evolution of this quaint beach town and it is with great excitement that I bring my knowledge and experience to you through HobRealty. Our professionalism and "commitment to customer care" are paramount in our mission and a testament to how successful business should be conducted. I take much pride in offering the "truth" in every situation. I also treat every one of my clients as a future neighbor as I was raised to "love thy neighbor".
